Huge Plans for Atlantic's Houston Markets
Atlantic Aviation announced its plans for a complete rebuild of the FBO and hangars at its Houston Hobby (HOU) location as well as a remodel plan for its George Bush Intercontinental (IAH) location.
The Houston Hobby rebuild, pending regulatory approvals, will consist of a spacious state-of-the-art new terminal building, two new 32,000-square-foot hangars and an additional 160,000 square feet of ramp space. The entire project will be a minimum $14 million investment and is anticipated to begin second quarter 2014.
At George Bush Intercontinental, the location is slated for a $1.5 million capital improvement. The updated facility will improve functionality and enhance customer comfort. The project is scheduled to begin second quarter 2014.
"In typical Atlantic fashion, we are constantly reinvesting in our infrastructure," said Glen Gross, Regional Vice President of Operations. "We are excited to make these major enhancements in two very busy markets."
