Atlantic Cares
Albuquerque Teams up for Boys & Girls Club
Atlantic Albuquerque (ABQ) teamed together to help raise money for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central New Mexico. They gathered and coordinated a team of 20 people and raised at least $1000.00 just to be able to register and participate in the 2nd annual Pulling for Kids.
Pulling for Kids is a free public event at the Albuquerque International Sunport where registered teams of 20 compete to see who can pull a 20-ton Boeing 727 a distance of 20 feet the fastest. Anyone who attended could also enjoy a car show, live music, food trucks, and lots of games and fun for kids.
Atlantic ABQ’s team was named “I Love the Smell of Jet Fuel in the Morning” and although they didn’t win the pull, they had a great time while raising funds to help kids in the New Mexico area.
